Material
- Made in Italy in Tuscany in "laboratori" - small traditional factories with up to 20 employee
- Made from vachetta leather - cowhides, which are acquired as a by-product from the food industry
- ATP atelier's suppliers are located in Italy and their cowhides come from within the EU
- Vegetable-tanned vachetta leather is treated with plant-based tannins - bark and leaves, instead of toxic chromium sulfates
- This smooth, raw and sustainable type of leather is more sensitive to scratches and so every item gets a slightly unique look after some time
Care
- Vachetta leather is a high-quality durable material, which however needs to be taken care of to look beautiful for many years to come
- Step 1: To make the leather nourished use leather grease. Put a small amount on a soft piece of cloth and massage it into the leather
- Step 2: To make the nourished leather shine use leather wax
- Step 3: To seal the leather and make it dirt and waterproof use the impregnation spray
- Step 4: after multiple use clean the bag with a damp cloth and repeat the care process
